HCP 6000+ HIGH CORROSION PROTECTION

Surface coatings that meet the highest standards

Under our WÜRTH - HCP 6000+ brand, we offer you optimum corrosion protection for your applications. HCP 6000+ exceeds the requirements of corrosion category C5 High according to DIN EN ISO 12944. When selecting the right corrosion protection, you have to consider the environmental conditions such as humidity, temperature, air contamination (sulfur & chlorides) as well as salt load. The service life of the components making up the structure to be protected play a role in the selection of an appropriate system. What is behind this high-performance HCP coating? HCP is a modified cathodic dip coating (CDC), which is applied in a special three-layer structure consisting of an adhesive primer, a water-soluble epoxy resin coating, which is created by applying a direct current and then curing the component. After this, the electrostatically charged powder coating is sprayed on, and melted and fused into a uniform coating in a curing oven at 180°C. A wide range of RAL colors is available. With this corrosion protection, fastening systems on steel can meet the load criteria of DIN EN ISO 12944 in the highest corrosion category C5-I or C5 M/CX. The exposure to neutral salt spray (according to ISO 9227) meets the H = High criteria and exceeds the minimum requirement of 1,440 hours. Our system WÜRTH - HCP 6000+ has lasted more than 6,000 hours in the salt spray test.
