Job Summary
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing all government-related documentation and processes for the company. This includes visa processing, labor and immigration formalities, trade license renewals, and liaising with UAE government authorities to ensure full legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Government Liaison
- Act as the main point of contact between the company and UAE government authorities such as:
- General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA)
- Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE)
- Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICP)
- Relevant Municipality and Economic Departments
- Maintain strong working relationships with officials to facilitate smooth transactions

2. Visa & Immigration Processing
- Process employment visas, residence visas, family visas, visit visas, and cancellations.
- Coordinate medical tests, Emirates ID applications, and visa stamping.
- Monitor visa expiry dates and ensure timely renewals.
3. Labor & Employment Formalities
- Handle labor contracts, amendments, renewals, and cancellations.
- Process work permits and labor approvals.
- Ensure compliance with UAE Labor Law regulations.
4. Company Licensing & Documentation
- Manage trade license applications and renewals.
- Coordinate approvals from free zone or mainland authorities.
- Maintain updated records of company legal documents.
5. Document Clearing & Attestation
- Arrange document attestation from embassies and ministries.
- Translate official documents when required.
- Ensure proper filing and record-keeping.
6. Compliance & Reporting
- Keep management updated on changes in UAE laws and regulations.
- Ensure company policies align with government requirements.
- Prepare reports related to visa status, quotas, and compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a PRO in the UAE (3–5 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of UAE labor, immigration, and company laws.
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving license (often required).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
