Robotics Engineer
The Engineering Robotics Department is a multidisciplinary innovation unit responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying advanced robotic systems to transform construction, industrial operations, and smart infrastructure delivery.
The team combines expertise in mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineering with artificial intelligence, automation, and digital twin technologies to deliver real-world robotic solutions that improve productivity, safety, sustainability, and operational excellence.
Working closely with project delivery teams, research institutions, government partners, and global technology vendors, the department serves as a center of excellence for humanoid robotics, mobile robotic platforms, and autonomous systems ensuring solutions transition smoothly from laboratory prototypes to scalable commercial applications.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and engineer robotic platforms for construction, inspection, and industrial use cases
- Develop AI-driven perception, navigation, and manipulation systems
- Integrate sensors, control systems, and digital twin environments
- Execute proof-of-concept pilots and manage on-site robotic deployments
- Ensure safety compliance, risk assessments, and regulatory alignment
- Collaborate with operations teams to optimize workflows through robotics
- Support productization and large-scale rollout of robotic solutions
- Partner with universities, R&D organizations, and global vendors on innovation programs
- Coordinate directly with Chinese technology partners, manufacturers, and suppliers

Mandatory Requirements
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory, both written and verbal
- Proven ability to communicate with Chinese manufacturers, R&D partners, and technology vendors
- Prior experience working within China-based robotics or automation ecosystems is strongly preferred
- Willingness to collaborate across multicultural and international teams
